Ever since I was 13, I've been fascinated by Photography. When I was 13 1/2 my grandma bought me a disposable camera and from then on, I've never looked back. When I was around 19, I bought my first camera, a Nikon Coolpix L21 with Nikkor 3.6 Optical Zoom. I had that camera (and still do) for roughly 6 years before I upgraded to a Nikon Coolpix S3300 series camera with a Nikkor 6x Optical Zoom lens and have had that camera for roughly 7 years.

Over those years, my photography has continued to improve in leaps and often bounds, more often than not, surprising even myself with what I've managed to capture and it's through the strong encouragement of my peers, within the Photography Community, that I've chosen to add this page and a few of the photos I've captured over the years. These are what I consider to be my best taken thus far. The ones that surprised even me with their beauty and the shocking results captured forever.

Celestial Morning

The 2023 Super Buck Moon. Taken at 5am. This was brutal. I had to be up super early to catch this photo but I'm so very grateful that I did!

Port McNeill Sunset

Taken 09/07/2023 at 7:45pm, this is a bit of a revamp of an older photo I took a few years ago. Same name, same town, different location, different view point. Still an amazing photo nevertheless!

New Year's 2023

Happy New Years everyone. I'm a bit late on the ball for this as I've been down fairly ill with severe gall bladder issues. But here's what our skies looked like, New Year's Day 2023.

Celestial Sisters

A few months back, I sat outside in the freezing cold JUST to capture this very moment. I've been told the 'dot' is either Venus or Mars.

Marina Reflections

I went down to the Port Alice Marina and was snapping photos. I honestly never thought this one would turn out so good because on the camera's screen, it looked blurry and I was way too tired to try again.

Volcanic Peaks

The triple volcanic peaks of Mount Stephens is something I never grow tired of seeing. I've nicknamed this mountain The Cat Ears because, from a distance, that's what it looks like.

Homeward Bound

Taken 08/22/23 while coming home from Campbell River. I'm not 100% certain what the name of this mountain range is. What I do know, is that this specific range, was, at one time, volcanic in nature as large lava deposits have been found here.

Taken from a moving car! No worries I was the passenger!

Pre-Dawn Tug

Getting up at 8:30am may seem dumb to most but it was well worth it on 09/06/23 to see this amazing lil tugboat head out from the marina to go bring in a rock barge. These are the kinds of things, you'll only ever get to see first thing in the morning!

Pulteney Point Lighthouse

The beautiful Pulteney Point Lighthouse on Sointula Island.

Pink-Tipped Anemone

Three Pink-Tipped Anemones. These guys go by the scientific name of Anthopleura elegantissima and are apart of the Actiniidae family and are widespread throughout British Columbia coastal waters. Other names include Aggregating Anemone; Pink-Tipped Anemone; Surf Anemone.
