New Best Movie to Watch

If you grew up with James Cameron's AVATAR from 2009 then you all know where the series was heading, well and truly before the announcement that the other installments of 2, 3, 4 and 5 were set for writing. What many were shocked to hear, was that, while Avatar one was being released to production, Avatars 2, 3, and 4 were already being written and would head to production, pending how well Avatar 1 did at the box offices. With a budget of $237 million dollars, they would need to get around $300 million at the box offices to make it worth the while to even begin post production on the other films. What they got was $2.923 Billion at the box office upon release. Avatar one was such a huge hit that Disney designed a small section of it's park more specifically Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. And so, Avatars 2, 3 and 4 were thrown into post production and over the next 14yrs we would sit, eagerly awaiting for AVATAR 2's release. We were teased. We were given hints of the name. But we weren't expecting a global release that turned everything CGI on it's head. So far, to date, AVATAR the way of Water has earned $2.32 billion dollars and that number, since it's release on December 16, 2022, has seen the film earning even more. The Avatar: The Way of Water Disney+ release date is June 7, 2023. The movie hit the digital market on March 28, 2023, more than 90 days after its theatrical release on December 16, 2022. On May 26th, 2023 it has since been reported that AVATAR the way of Water has since earned $2.320 billion dollars, from a film budget of $350 - $460 million dollars to produce. And it's been rumored that AVATARs 3, 4, and 5 are nearly complete as filming for all 3 films was done at the same time that AVATAR 2 was being filmed, at least all water scenes have been rumored to not only have been filmed to competition but are done and wrapped. Cameron said in January 2023, "I know what I'm going to be doing the next six or seven years."
